Step 1, What problems are you experiencing

  • Not printing, Red ERROR or PAPER OUT light
Likely a problem with paper or ribbon.

Check paper and ink ribbon cartridge. Paper should be inserted correctly. Ribbon cartridge should not be cracked or jammed. Cartridge should fit snug, pressed all the way down.

Turn the printer off and on and try printing again. If still not working replace printer with spare printer.

  • Tickets print to wrong printer
The correct printer is unreachable on the network.

    • If you've recently lost power, then turn all of your printers off and back on.

      1. With the printer already turned on, press in and hold the "SW Reset" button next to the network port on the back with a pen or paper clip.
After a few seconds the printer will start to print a settings report. A photo on the Epson UB-E03 interface ethernet card. The network port, SW Reset, Cash Drawer Port, and Power port are labeled.
    1. On that settings report there is a section with IP Address. Send FB support the IP address and the position of the kitchen printer in the line (Grill, Fry, Salad, Sandwich, Etc.). With those two pieces of information FB support can configure the IP address.
    2. Once FB support have configured the printer you will need to turn off the printer, turn it back on, wait 60 seconds and test the printer by firing an item that would print to that position.
